Important Update: Changes to How You Book Appointments
From Monday 19th May 2025, we will be introducing a new appointment system called Total Triage.
What is Total Triage?
Total Triage means that every request for a GP appointment will be assessed first before an appointment is made. This allows us to ensure you are seen by the most appropriate clinician, in the most appropriate timeframe.
How Will My Appointment Request Be Assessed?
You will need to complete a Triage Health Form using our new online system, Blinx Healthcare.
Once submitted, a GP will review your form and determine the best next step for your care.
What Do I Need to Use the System?
To complete the form, you’ll need:
How Do I Find My NHS Number?
Your NHS number can be found:
What If I Can’t Access the Internet or Struggle With Technology?
You can still call the Practice.
Our care navigators will complete the form on your behalf. However, please note:
When Will I Hear Back About My Request?
We aim to respond to all submitted Health Forms within 48 hours.
What If My Problem Feels Urgent?
General Practice is not an urgent care service.
If you feel your condition is too urgent to wait for triage, please attend A&E or call 111.
Thank You for Your Support
As we transition to this new system, we may experience some delays while processes are refined.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to deliver safe, timely, and effective care.
